Soundscape Distraction is a VR experience designed to utilize pain distraction as a non-pharmacological approach to pain management, using soothing sights and sounds to reduce the perception of pain by focusing attention away from pain stimuli.

Users can select 1 of 4 immersive activities, each taking place in a unique and relaxing visual space:

Abstract Sculpture - An interactive art piece featuring colorful gems.

Celestial Sky - Planets, stars, and comets dance to an astral muse.

Morning Chorus - The sounds of nature bubbling through a forest glade.

Synthwave - An 80’s soundtrack pulsing through a neon and pastel landscape.

Once the chosen activity has begun, users take control of their sonic experience via intuitive controls, modifying the mix of sounds and producing beautiful and dazzling visual effects.
