About this game

Tornadoes are touching down and someone has to drive into them.

In The Interceptors you’re a monkey storm chaser. Move by swinging and pushing off the ground with your arms, then build your own armored interceptor block by block on your plot in Plot Town. When the sirens go off, drive it into the path of a tornado, drop your anchors and hold on. Survive long enough in the core to score the intercept.

TORNADOES THAT GROW

EF1 ropes spin up fast. EF5 monsters take their time, then tear houses, trees and hay bales off the ground. Watch them on the radar, read the wind meter and pick your moment.

BUILD YOUR INTERCEPTOR

Place frame, armor, wheels, seats and anchors on your plot. Heavier rigs stay planted in the wind; lighter ones get there first. Upgrade your engine, armor and anchors at the Craft Station.

MINE AND CRAFT

Swing a pickaxe at stone, iron, copper and glowing titanium in three mines. Bring the ore to the crafter to forge better pickaxes and interceptor upgrades.

WEATHER PROBES

Drop probes in a tornado’s path and get clear. The stronger the wind they record, the bigger the reward.

PLAY TOGETHER

Join a public room or type a private code on the room computer. See each other’s builds and interceptors, talk with proximity voice chat (mute anyone from the room computer), and chase storms as a team.
