The Emergent Pericardiocentesis Simulator will guide the learner through the steps of an emergent pericardiocentesis with the intention of familiarizing electrophysiologists to this important but rare procedure skillset.

This immersive XR experience provides a realistic simulation of the clinical scenario and increases overall retention by teaching through active participation in a safe, virtual environment. It assesses the operator’s efficiency at several points along the procedure and provides feedback on overall time to complete the skill.
