Forty-one space curves in a coordinate box, each casting a dotted shadow onto all three walls. Viviani’s curve makes the case alone: one curve whose three shadows are a circle, a parabola and a figure-eight. Twelve surfaces too — the plaster models this room is named after: a Möbius strip with one side, a Klein bottle with no inside.

CHEMISTRY

Fifty structures in the CPK colours chemists read without thinking, as ball-and-stick or space-filling. Methane’s real 109.47° tetrahedron, which a flat cross drawing makes look like 90°.

SPACE

Fifteen organs from BodyParts3D — one adult body segmented from MRI. Nothing is scaled to fit: every organ the size it is, in the place it is, with the ducts that join them.

Bond lengths from published experimental structures; interior boundaries from seismology and spacecraft. Organ measurements are computed from the mesh on screen, so no entry can quote a size its own geometry does not have.
