Linde LVA - Working at heights

The Linde Virtual Academy’s Working at Heights module immerses trainees in high-elevation scenarios within a virtual gas-processing plant to build essential safety skills. Users learn to select, don, and inspect fall-protection gear; recognize structural and environmental hazards; and apply the correct protective measures. Realistic distractions and physical-sensation elements simulate wind gusts, equipment vibration, and confined footing, training operators to stay focused under genuine stress.

Randomized conditions—varying weather, lighting, surface stability, and task complexity—ensure each session presents fresh challenges. Trainees practice climbing protocols, anchor-point verification, and rescue-prep drills while honing mental resilience.

Developed in line with Linde’s rigorous safety standards and industry best practices, this module aligns with real-world operating procedures. Fully integrated into the broader LVA platform, it provides seamless progression between complementary safety and operational trainings. As part of a comprehensive learning journey, Working at Heights equips professionals with the technical know-how and situational awareness needed to protect people and assets in elevated work environments.
