1. Place bamboo shoots in each of four beakers, and add red, blue, yellow, and green coloring to the beakers containing the bamboo shoots.

2. Place the dye in the glass tube and use the spotlight to add the dye according to the color of the arrow on the glass tube.

3. Close the lid to secure the pivoting rod and glass tube, and turn the lever counterclockwise.

4. After you see the colors mix, turn the lever clockwise to see the result.

The four colors mixed when turned counterclockwise will return to their original state when turned clockwise.
