I Am Dog

I AM DOG is a first-person dog sandbox for Meta Quest. Everything is dog-sized: the couch is a cliff, the coffee table is a stage and Granny is five metres tall.

THE HOUSE

Trot through the living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and Granny’s home gym. Every toy is grabbable and throwable with real physics: tennis balls, squeaky bones, socks, slippers, pillows, the rubber duck. Vases, mugs and lamps shatter. Bulldoze the trash can, unroll the toilet paper, eat from your bowl, drink from the toilet, hop up onto the couch, the bed and the chairs.

GRANNY

Sporty Granny walks her rounds, does her jumping jacks and watches Dog TV. Make enough mess and she comes for you with the rolled newspaper. She cannot reach you on the furniture, she can never fit through a doggy door, and you are faster with zoomies. A nap in your bed resets the mess.

THE SECRET ROOMS

Behind the doggy doors: the DOGGY PLAY PLACE (ball pit, crawl tunnel, slide, SLAM DUNK hoop with the auto-release throw, punching bag, whack-a-squirrel, weave poles), the DOGGY ARCADE (fetch machine, six-pin bowling, light-floor memory game, jukebox, duck pool) and the SKY DIVE TOWER: step over the fan, ride the wind 100 metres up to the sky deck, then step off and float down.

BONES

Every bit of mischief pays bones. Twelve real bones are hidden around the house; carry them to the BONE BANK. Ten in the bank and it is party time. Ten tasks, six music tracks, snap turning, no falling damage. Single player, standing or roomscale.
