Eerie Monke

Eerie Monke is a chilling VR horror experience that overlays the free-roaming gameplay of Gorilla Tag with an unsettling atmosphere and psychological tension. In a deserted, overgrown jungle complex, you are a lone "monke" trapped in a dark, twisted world where something evil and ancient has taken up residence. With only your arms to climb, bound, and flee—as you do in Gorilla Tag—you will have to navigate through creepy woods, fog-wrapped ruins, and rusting labs.

No combat. No help. Survival alone.

The more you venture in, the more the game gradually changes—routes twist, noises echo differently, and black shadows begin to follow you. Strange symbols are carved into the trees. The further you get, the more the world distorts, and the more the forest comes to life. Other "monkes" might show up—some nice, some. otherwise. Players? AI? Hallucinations?

Eerie Monke sustains itself on a diet of the unknown and paranoia. Dynamic audio, unpredictable events, and interactive environments make each session unique. At times, the most perilous thing isn’t what’s chasing you—it’s what your own mind does while waiting for it to arrive.

Playing alone or privately through multiplayer sessions, Eerie Monke offers a haunting mix of raw movement and psychological horror. It’s not so much about running from something horrifying—it’s about whether or not you were ever alone to begin with.
