CareVR

CareVR simulates a standard operating theatre with equipment and instruments as well as some interactive procedures in a multi-user setting.

The app contains two active training scenarios, one for passing sterile material for preparing operating tables and the other for a simplified intraoperative count check of gauzes.

In addition to the detailed display of the operating theatre inventory, particular importance was placed on multi-user functionalities in order to train procedures in team exercises.

The aim of the app is a low-threshold and location-independent familiarisation and training for all trainees of health professions and medical students or staff in the retraining process.

CareVR was developed in cooperation with Sana Klinken AG, which operates more than 55 hospitals of all care levels throughout Germany.
