BamboLens

BamboLens is for 3D printing makers who want to see a part before printing it. Open a model and it appears on your desk, at real size, blended with the room around you. Grab it with your hands or controllers, turn it, set it next to other parts and see whether it fits, lines up and looks right.

On your desk, at real size

• Point at the desk and choose where the part goes, with a preview before you drop it.
• Gravity and collision: parts settle on their most stable face and can be stacked. Turn gravity off to leave a part floating in the air.
• Dimensions in millimeters: width, depth and height.

Filament colors

• A palette of PLA, matte PLA, silk PLA, PETG, ABS/ASA and TPU based on the colors of the most popular brands.
• Multicolor 3MF files open with the project’s colors.

Your files, as they come

• STL, 3MF and ZIP packages with many parts: place one at a time or all at once.
• Units in mm, cm or inches, and a Z-up option.
• Large models are simplified automatically to stay smooth.

Model portal

• Browse 3D model websites such as Cults3D and Thingiverse inside the app and download a file straight to your desk, without taking off the headset.

Private by default

• No account, no ads and no data collection: your files stay on your device.

Available in 20 languages. Requires Meta Quest 3 or Quest 3S.
