You noclipped out of reality into the Backrooms: endless yellow wallpaper, damp carpet, buzzing lights. Your friends are here too. So is something else.

MOVE WITH YOUR ARMS. No joystick walking. Push off the floor to run, swing your arms to launch yourself, and climb walls, crates and ledges.

PLAY TOGETHER. Jump into a public room, or type a code on the old terminal so your friends land in the same maze. Talk with voice or text chat.

GO DEEPER. Glowing exits lead from the Lobby into 34 more levels: the Poolrooms, a hotel, a subway, a funhouse, an abandoned pizza arcade, total darkness. Every level is built as you explore, so no two trips are the same.

SURVIVE THE MONSTERS. Each level has its own creature with its own trick. One only moves when nobody is looking. One hunts by sound. In the pizza arcade the mascot is slow while the lights are on, but when the power fails, it runs. In the funhouse, something writes your name on the walls.

SNAP THEM. Photograph monsters for points and fill in the entity index back in the Lobby.

GEAR UP. Spend points on a flashlight, an entity detector, an exit compass, a radio and security cameras. Unlock achievements and win hats.

INFECTION TAG. One player becomes the Entity. Anyone it touches turns too. Be the last one standing.
