ABT blends musical elements of art and technology and is designed for K-12 schools, which allows teachers to enrich their curriculum in a variety of subjects, extending far beyond traditional music lessons.

Historical & Cultural Awareness

Understanding the historical contributions and cultural dimensions of music. Students analyze the role of music in past and present cultures throughout the world, noting cultural diversity as it relates to music, musicians, and composers and producers.

Creative Expression

Processing, analyzing, and responding to sensory information through the basic language and skills unique to music.

Students read basic drum notation to listen to, analyze, and describe music and other aural sounds using a very basic set of music terms.

Read a basic drum score and explain how the elements of music are used and transferred to a drum sequencer.

Students learn to analyze and describe the use of basic musical elements, expressive devices and genre identification (loud, soft, fast, slow) in aural examples with a varied repertoire of music representing diverse genres, styles, and cultures.

Immersive Technology Literacy

Helping students and educators learn how to engage with basic skills sets of how to interact and engage in immersive spaces.

Basic Composition

Compose music with simple drum beats and pitch patterns, using musical drum elements and pitched instruments.
